Fixed-power stereo microscopes offer limited views of subjects,
but not so with the Acuter Zoom Stereo Microscope. By simply turning a knob, you can change the magnification a little, or a lot, to suit the subject and your inspection needs.
We really like the Acuter Zoom Stereo Microscope. The quality construction, and ease of use makes this a real winner. When we want to seriously inspect something we're working on, this is our microscope of choice.
The flexibility of variable-intensity reflected or transmitted lighting lets you switch from observing fairly opaque subjects like beetles or coins to less opaque subjects like crystals or dragonfly wings, and dial in just the right amount of light for optimum clarity. A fluorescent ring-lamp illuminator is available separately for a reasonable cost.
Low-magnification zoom stereo microscopes are perfect for many applications, including observing rocks, plants, insects, handwriting analysis, electronics work and parts inspection. They are more comfortable to use, and show you subjects in 3D.
